Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Eazo apps (Eazo Pro for helpers, Eazo for customers) and our backoffice service (admin.eazo.in). By creating an account or using any of these services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Who can use Eazo

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You must reside in India and use the app within India.
  • Helpers must complete identity verification (Aadhaar + Society Verification Card) before accepting paid work. Eazo administrators may reject or suspend an account that fails verification or violates these Terms.

Account responsibilities

  • You are responsible for keeping your phone number active. Account login is tied to that number.
  • You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during signup.
  • You will not share your account access with anyone else.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts on the same phone number are not permitted.

Bookings, payments, cancellations

  • A booking is a contractual agreement between a customer and a helper to provide a defined home service for a defined time slot, mediated by Eazo's platform.
  • Pricing is calculated as service hourly rate × booking duration. The full price is shown before confirmation.
  • Payments are processed by our partner Razorpay over UPI. Eazo does not store your bank credentials, UPI PIN, or card details.
  • Cancellation: bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 minutes before the scheduled slot. Cancellations within 30 minutes may incur a small fee depending on whether the helper has already started travelling.
  • Refunds: paid cancellations are refunded to the original UPI handle within 7 working days.

Helper conduct

  • Helpers must arrive at the scheduled time, complete the service to a professional standard, and respect the customer's home and property.
  • Helpers must not solicit personal contact, payments, or services outside the Eazo platform from a customer they were introduced to via Eazo.
  • Helpers may decline an assignment with reasonable notice; repeated last-minute declines may result in account suspension.

Customer conduct

  • Customers must treat helpers with dignity and respect.
  • Customers must provide a safe and reasonable working environment.
  • Discriminatory, abusive, or harassing behaviour will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to law-enforcement authorities.

Communication

  • The in-app chat thread is the only sanctioned communication channel between a customer and helper for a given booking.
  • Eazo never shares phone numbers between customers and helpers.
  • You may not use the chat thread to share personal contact details, exchange money outside Eazo, or transmit illegal content.
  • Voice messages and text messages are retained for 90 days after a booking closes and then deleted.

Ratings and reviews

  • Customers may rate helpers from 1 to 5 stars after a completed booking, optionally with a written comment.
  • Ratings must reflect genuine experience. Eazo reserves the right to remove ratings that violate community standards (abuse, defamation, irrelevant content).

Prohibited uses

You will not:

  • Use Eazo for any illegal activity.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or any non-public part of Eazo's systems.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass security mechanisms.
  • Use Eazo for commercial scraping or automated requests beyond ordinary product usage.

Suspension and termination

Eazo may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abusive behaviour, or repeated user complaints. Suspended users are notified of the reason inside the app and may appeal by writing to info@eazo.in.

Disclaimers

  • Eazo is a platform that connects customers and helpers. Eazo is not a party to the service contract itself and is not the employer of any helper.
  • While we verify helper identity, we do not guarantee the quality of any individual service. Customers should report quality issues immediately so we can investigate.
  • The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Eazo's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Eazo is limited to the total amount you paid to Eazo in the twelve months preceding the claim. Eazo is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified inside the app. Your continued use of Eazo after a Terms update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
